Chinese dominance: Xinjiang authorities detain elderly Uyghur woman

Beijing: There seems to be no respite for Uyghurs in China as authorities in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) allegedly detained a woman in an internment camp on suspicion of “religious extremism” after she intervened in a domestic dispute between her neighbours, according to authorities.
