One million Somalis at risk of starvation, UN envoy warns, briefing Security Council

New York, Oct 15 (IBNS) The United Nations envoy in Somalia warned on Tuesday that despite some political and security gains, the humanitarian situation in the long-troubled country has deteriorated, with more than three million people now in need of assistance, including over one million Somalis who do not have enough to eat.
