Leaving generations of movie lovers teary-eyed, legendary Indian filmmaker Mrinal Sen passed away in Kolkata on Sunday (Dec 30, 2018). He was 95. Here are the glimpses of his last journey from  Peace World mortuary in Topsia for his cremation. Several actors of Bengali film industry like Prosenjit Chatterjee, Nandita Das,Aparna Sen and Anjan Dutt participated in the last journey of the icon. Last journey of Indian filmmaking legend Mrinal Sen

Legendary Indian filmmaker Mrinal Sen passed away in Kolkata on Sunday (Dec 30, 2018). He was 95. Glimpses of his last journey from his house in south Kolkata's Padmapukur Beltala region to Peace World mortuary in Topsia before his cremation after the arrival of his son Kunal from USA. He had wished not to be taken to film complex and cultural hub Nandan in Kolkata.
