Assam CM launches Digital Literacy Programme

Guwahati, Aug 24 (IBNS): Making one person in every family digitally literate as a core component, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched Digital Literacy Programme in 126 Gram Panchayats of 126 Legislative Assembly Constituencies at a function held at the conference hall of Assam Secretariat on Wednesday.

Assam to frame a new IT policy

Guwahati, July 25 (IBNS): Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday asked the IT Department to frame a new IT Policy for an increase in e-governance initiatives and use 'IT' as tool to improve lives of the people of Assam.
