Kashmir flood fury: Human lives saved, animals lost

Jammu, Sept 14 (IBNS): For Barkat Illahi, a Gujjar camping near Tawi bridge adjacent to Jammu-Nagrota highway, the dilemma could not have been bigger. As the heavy rains started lashing Jammu province, his daughter pleaded him to move to a safer location but he did not give any heed to her for the love of his animals whom he has raised like his own children.
