After tomatoes, skyrocketing chilli and ginger prices drain consumers' pockets

New Delhi: A cause of heatwaves, heavy rainfall, and disruptions in the supply chain has led to soaring prices of various vegetables across the country, media reports said.

Tomato supply eases, prices down by 12.89 pc over last week and 23.69 pc as compared to last one month

New Delhi/IBNS: The price of tomatoes at the all-India level, as of December 21 dropped by 12.89 percent as compared to last one week and by 23.69 percent as compared to last one month, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution said Wednesday.
