New Delhi: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) Wednesday signed contracts for 10 blocks awarded under Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) bid round-VIII and three Coal Bed Methane (CBM) blocks awarded under Special CBM bid round-SCBM 2022.

Mumbai: The government intends to increase India's exploration acreage to 0.5 million sq. km. by 2025 and 1.0 million sq. km. by 2030, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Saturday.
