Black Fungus medicine exempted from tax, Centre decides at GST Council meet

New Delhi/IBNS: Amid the rising cases of Black Fungus, the medicine to treat the disease-Amphotericin B-has been exempted from integrated goods and services tax (IGST), the goods and services tax council decided in a meeting held on Friday after a gap of eight months.

Covid-19: Govt slashes IGST rate on oxygen concentrator imports for personal use

New Delhi/IBNS: As India combats Covid-19, the demand for oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies has risen exponentially as the government uses all resources to increase oxygen supply. To ease this fight, the Union Finance Ministry Saturday reduced IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax) rate for imports of concentrators, an official statement said.

No IGST on goods taken out of India for exhibition or consignment: Govt

New Delhi, Jul 22 (UNI) No IGST would be levied on goods that are taken out of India on consignment basis for exhibition or other export promotion events, the Government clarified on Monday.

(Amendments: Which has now been extended till June 2018). One can also claim refunds by filing online all the applicable refund forms.
