Kolkata, Nov 20 (IBNS): Chasing a target of 231 on the fifth day of the first Test match against India, Sri Lanka have been reduced to 8/2 at the Eden Gardens.

The two Sri Lankan wickets were taken by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami.

Sri Lanka need 223 more runs to win the Kolkata Test.

India declared at 352/8 in the second innings.
