Lord's victory is memorable: Dhoni

London, July 21 (IBNS): Indian skipper MS Dhoni called his team's victory against England at Lord's on Monday as 'memorable'.

India created history as they won a Test match at Lord's after 28 years by beating England by 95 runs.

Dhoni said his team have learnt a lot from the 2011 Test in the country.

" Memorable win for us, not many players have played Test cricket in England, their approach was brilliant, it was a fantastic performance," Dhoni said.

"I think we learnt from the 2011 series that it is important to stay in the game till the third day, because then our spinners come into action, what they can do is give the bowlers ample rest, so they can come and give a hard spell of bowling. That was something that was needed, but we were not able to do in 2011 series," he said.
