KKR, Kings IPL qualifier postponed till tomorrow

Kolkata, May 27 (IBNS): The first qualifier between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Kings XI Punjab was postponed till Wednesday due to incessant rain.

Wednesday is a reserve day.

The ground in the Eden Gardens has been kept under cover due to heavy rainfall since Sunday.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next two days.

KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan tweeted: "Match postponed to tomorrow. Was all set to take off…good will finish some studies at home. World War lasted too long…uff!!!"
