Macau, Nov 30 (IBNS): Indian Badminton icon P.V. Sindhu defeated South Korean Kim Hyo Min in the women's singles final of the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold to clinch the title.
The Indian defended the title beating her opponent 21-12, 21-17.
The match lasted for 45 minutes.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated her for the victory as he tweeted: "Am delighted to hear about PV Sindhu's victory at the Macau Open. Her accomplishments make our entire Nation very proud."
