India England India struggle at 257 for six at stumps
Chennai: India seems to be in deep trouble against England after finishing the day's play at 257 for the loss of six wickets, still trailing the opponents by 321 runs here on Sunday.
England posted a massive total on the scorecard but India continued to lose wickets at regular intervals to make things tough for themselves.
CHeteshwar Pujara (73) and Rishabh Pant (91) remained the two shining spots in the Indian innings which was hit hard by opposition bowlers.
Pujara played his aggressive knock that included nine boundaries and five sixes.
Washington Sundar added 33 runs and remained unbeaten at stumps.
He continued his good form with the bat from Australia.
Dom Bess picked up four wickets for England.
Jofra Archer scalped two wickets.
