Abu Dhabi/IBNS: Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have hit the nets for their practice session ahead of the delayed 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

In a collage of pictures shared by KKR on Twitter, Karthik to Kuldeep Yadav to Shubman Gill were all present in the training session.

The caption of the post reads, ".@DineshKarthik and Co. sweat it out in one of their training sessions in Abu Dhabi."

The 13th edition of which will begin on Sept 19.

The IPL, which is usually held between March and June, was delayed in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic in India.

As the Covid-19 situation is still grim in the Asian country, the Indian cricket board had decided to move the mega T20 tournament out of the country.
