The special festive edition will consist of eight episodes and will be an hour long programme, each. There will be two recipes per episode, prepared by the Jalsha stars. Apart from the cooking, grooming tips will also be discussed and the viewers will get a live demonstration of it.

Top make up artist, Aniruddha Chakladar will help the 'Jalsha' stars with their makeover. The show will retain its original host Tollywood actress Priyanka Sarkar.

Hostess Priyanka said, "We enjoyed a lot. It's a very innovative kind of show. I started cooking those recipes at home."

Director Kaushik Das said: “It’s not just a cookery show. There will be makeover tips. We have a great line up for the audience. Folk Artists, singers and other entertainers will grace the show with their presence, rendering it a special feel. So everyone can relate themselves with the show."

Said Chakladar: "I did many makeup related shows but it's really interesting because it's a package based on a cookery show. I will give some makeup tips in the show not only to the stars but also to the audiences."
