Kolkata/IBNS: Raj Chakraborty was one of the four Bengali directors who featured in the new cinematic lineup unveiled by SVF Productions just days ago.

Raj, who is known for his delivery of several blockbusters over the years, made a comeback with SVF after a hiatus.

The Mithun Chakraborty starrer film, which is yet untitled, went on floors on Wednesday. Both Raj and SVF shared a few glimpses from the first day of shoot, which apparently looked smooth, on X platform.

In the X video, Mithun Chakraborty, who has delivered a mesmerising performance in last Christmas release, Kabuliwala, was seen arriving at the shoot and busy giving shots on day one.

Narrating his first-day experience, Raj said, "It's a family drama. We are shooting for the 165th production by SVF."

"I am working with SVF after a long time. The set is excellent. Mithun-da turned very happy right on the first day of shoot," he added.

Apart from Mithun Chakraborty, the family drama, which is centred on a father-son relationship, features Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, Anashua Majumdar, Sohini Sengupta in distinct roles.

Some of Raj's most popular films made in a collaboration with SVF are Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, Challenge, Prem Aamar, Bojhena Shey Bojhena et al.
