Singer Joe Jonas files for divorce from Sophie Turner

Singer Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner, ending their four-year marriage.

The singer filed a petition for divorce in Florida on Tuesday in Miami Dade County, according to public records obtained by CNN.

The petition states the marriage is “irretrievably broken” as grounds for dissolution, reported the American news channel.

The couple tied the nuptial knot in 2019.

They have two children together.

British actress Sophie Turner made her acting debut as Sansa Stark in the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which she received a Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019.

Turner appeared in the 2013 British drama television film The Thirteenth Tale and made her feature film debut in the psychological thriller Another Me (2013).

She appeared in the action comedy Barely Lethal (2015) and portrayed a young Jean Grey / Phoenix in the X-Men film series (2016–2019).
