Mumbai, Aug 11 (IBNS):  Actor Varun Dhawan on Saturday said that director late veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra had made a lot of contributions to the world of Indian cinema.

"#SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia is my first film under the Yash Raj Films banner. Yash Chopraji was truly a Made In India Director and has contributed a lot to Indian cinema. Can’t wait for you to see the trailer on August 13th," Dhawan tweeted.

He will soon be seen in his upcoming Bollywood movie  "Sui Dhaaga - Made In India".

The actor also shared an image on social media where he could be seen posing with Chopra's statue.

He tweeted :"#SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia is my first film under the Yash Raj Films banner. Yash Chopraji was truly a Made In India Director and has contributed a lot to Indian cinema. Can’t wait for you to see the trailer on August 13th."

The film stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

Sui Dhaaga is the first film where the two actors will be seen as an onscreen pair.

Sharat Katariya directorial film is slated to release on Sept 28.
