Mumbai, May 3 (IBNS): Actress Sonakshi Sinha turned 31 on Saturday.

She is daughter of actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha.

Sonakshi has made a mark in the world of Bollywood with her performance in numerous movies.

B-town wished her on the special day of the year.

Bollywood Production house  Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted: "Stunning, vibrant & supremely gifted. #Ittefaq Se? We don’t quite think so Here’s wishing @sonakshisinha a very Happy Birthday! #HappyBirthdaySonakshiSinha."

Actress Diana Penty wished her and said: "Happy Happy Birthday, @sonakshisinha!!! Lots of love and a double dose of ‘Happyness’ today and always Have a wonderful day and a super year ahead ."

Rapper Badshah posted: "Happy birthday @sonakshisinha you know this year is going to be a big big banger ."

Actres Jacqueline Fernandez remarked: "Happy bday my darling Sona @sonakshisinha Sending you so many hugs and kisses ."

Sonakshi made her debut in the Hindi film industry with 2010's 'Dabangg' opposite Salman Khan.

The film went on to become the highest grossing Bollywood venture of the year.

She also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Post her debut, she went on to play the leading lady in some of Bollywood's biggest hits, including 'Rowdy Rathore' (2012), 'Son of Sardaar' (2012), and 'Dabangg 2' (2012).

Though, she received negative reviews for her choice of previous roles, Sinha received critical praise for her performance in 'Lootera' (2013).

She was last seen in Ittefaq and  Welcome to New York.
