Mumbai, Dec 20 (IBNS): Filmmaker Karan Johar on Wednesday appreciated actress Rani Mukherji over her performance in the trailer of her upcoming movie Hichki.

"Rani Mukerjee is so so amazing in #Hichki!!! We have to see more of her on screen!!A truly exceptional talent!!! @sidpmalhotra handles a sensitive and unusual subject with respect!!!," Johar tweeted praising Rani.

In the movie, Rani could be seen playing the role of an unique teacher.

The movie is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharmaunder the banner of Yash Raj Films.
She was last seen in 2014 released movie Mardaani.

In the movie, Mukherji had played a tough cop.
