Alia Bhatt completes five years in Bollywood

Mumbai, Oct 19 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, known for her beauty and acting skills, has completed five years in the Hindi film industry.

She thanked fans and all people from the industry, including filmmaker Karan Johar, for her achievement and initial oppurtunity to start her journey in the tinsel town.

"Happy happy Diwali to you all! Today is a very special day. For two reasons.. Diwali being the first and 5 years of SOTY being the second ," she tweeted.

"Thank you for all the love!!!It's been such a journey but hopefully it shall be a long one..sooo grateful promise to always work hard ," the actress said.

Thanking Johar, she said: "Love you @karanjohar my father my friend.. thank you for making this day happen! Couldn't have asked for a better opening to my story :)."

She also appreciated her co-star in the 2012 movie Student of the Year- Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

All the three have made their marks in the industry now.

Alia tweeted: "And to the best boys ever! @S1dharthM @Varun_dvn so happy we started off together and were totally clueless together love you both ."

Student of the Year is a 2012 Indian romantic comedy-drama film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and in collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.
