Lakshmi Manchu starrer ‘The Decision’ short film revealed

Mumbai, May 18 (IBNS): Set in Washington, It is a 21 minute short film which narrates the story of a young woman who has to make a critical decision after she discovers that her child would be born with a rare medical condition.

The story revolves around Lakshmi Manchu playing the lead character and the hardships that she has to go through.

The film was screened at various short film festivals across India. The movie was premiered at Prasad labs in Hyderabad on Friday, 12th May.

Commenting on the response Lakshmi received after the premiere, she said “It is always nerve-wrecking to be present at the premiere of your film and receive feedback, but with The Decision it was very different. People were quite moved and I got a lot of calls and messages from a lot of people, especially from mothers who do have children with special needs thought this was an important message which had to be passed on”.
