Mumbai, Mar 16 (IBNS) With Sajid Nadiadwala's Baaghi, Shraddha Kapoor becomes the first among her contemporaries to have ventured into an action role.

In Baaghi, which also stars the action hero of the industry, Tiger Shroff, will even showcase Shraddha Kapoor doing proper action sequences.

The actress, who rose to fame with her girl next door role in Aashiqui 2, is opening up a new chapter with Baaghi with action.

All the people who have watched the rushes of the film feel that she has done a very good job at it with just minimum training.

She is very convincingly seen chasing, hitting and kicking all the goons coming her way.

Shraddha shares, "While we were shooting, I was simultaneously prepping for action. We had dedicated some hours each day to prepare for my action sequences. Since it was the first time and I was yet learning the correct techniques, I had a couple of injuries on set but I guess pain is a part of learning anything new. It was a mind blowing experience to do action in the film and especially along with Tiger Shroff who is so so good at it. Baaghi is about being a rebel when in love and there is a lot of action in the film."

Directed by Sabbir Khan Baaghi brings back the successful team of Heropanti, slated to release on 29 April 2016
