Actor Ranveer Singh turns 29

Mumbai, July 6 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh turned 29 years of age on Sunday.
The actor is currently shooting with Anushka Sharma in Turkey for 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. 
 
According to media reports, director Zoya Akhtar will host a birthday party for Ranveer, where the cast and crew of the film will be invited as well.
 
On his birthday, the actor thanked his fans for their wishes and tweeted: "Thank you thank you thank you all !!! :))))) *beaming*"
 
Ranveer commenced his career in the silver screen with Yash Raj Films (YRF) venture called 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in 2010.
 
After its release, 'Band Baaja Baaraat' became a critical and commercial success, with Ranveer's portrayal of Bittoo being lauded by critics.
 
He also bagged a Filmfare Award in the Best Male Debut category.
 
Post his debut film, Ranveer continued experimenting with new roles, like that of a con artist in 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' (2011).
 
The year 2013 turned quite successful for the actor whose performances were applauded in 'Lootera' and  the tragic romance 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'.
 
 He was recently seen on the silver screen portraying a Bengali goon in the action-drama Gunday (2014).
