Kolkata, Oct 8 (IBNS) 'Dark Chocolate', Agnidev Chatterjee's next venture, inspired by the Sheena Bora murder case is all set to feature Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry and Riya sen in lead roles, the director confirmed on Wednesday.

Mahima plays the character of Ishani, inspired by the character of Indrani Mukerjea, while Riya portrays Rima Bardhan, a character inspired by Sheena Bora.

The film has taken a fictional route to sketch the life and times of femme fatale Indrani Mukherjee. The movie is to be seen as a work of art and fiction made to entertain and also narrate one of the darkest episodes of modern times, Chatterjee urged his fans.

Actress Mahima Chaudhry said, “It’s my first Bengali movie. I am nervous as well as excited to play the new role. I will be playing the role of a negative character. There is lot to learn from the character I am portraying. It was a great experience working with Agnidev Chatterjee. Hope to work with him in future as well.”

“This is one of the most shocking and diabolical crimes of our times. I have done a lot of research on the case and while I have tried to remain true to most of the case some parts have been fictionalised to keep the element of wonder alive in the movie till the very end,” said the director of ‘Dark Chocolate’.

Produced by Macneil engineering Pvt Ltd, ‘Dark Chocolate’ will hit the theater soon.
