Kolkata/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke, media reports said.

The 'Jawan' actor was present to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between his Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.

According to media reports, he was suffering from dehydration amid a soaring temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad.

SRK's close friend and KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla reportedly visited him at the hospital.

The actor is believed to be stable and under monitoring.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is the co-owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), celebrated the team's triumph on Tuesday night with a lap of honour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Accompanied by his children, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, the King Khan greeted the audience following KKR's impressive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which secured their place in the IPL 2024 finals.

He even delighted his fans with his iconic pose amid chants of his name.
