Paresh Rawal, Mimi Chakraborty starrer Shastry Virudh Shastry to release in 2023

Mumbai/Kolkata/IBNS: Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, Tollywood actor-MP Mimi Chakraborty starrer Shastri Virudh Shastri, which is the Hindi remake of 2017 Bengali film Posto, is set to release this year.

The confirmation that the film will be released in 2023 has been given by other lead actor Shiv Pandit.

The film has been directed by filmmaking duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee who also helmed Posto.

Shastry Virudh Shastry, which also features Neena Kulkarni in the lead, will narrate a story of a young boy who gets caught into a legal battle between his parents and grandparents.

Shastry Virudh Shastry will be jointly produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Windows Production.

Posto, the original version of Shastri Virudh Shastry, starred late actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, Jisshu U Sengupta and Mimi Chakraborty  in the lead.
