Mumbai, May 7 (IBNS): There's a pleasant surprise waiting for all Guns N' Roses and SpongeBob SquarePants fans.

Nickelodeon’s lovable character SpongeBob will be seen saving the world in the upcoming film The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water 3D releasing May 8

And now, the first trailer of the film reveals a special appearance by legendary guitarist - Slash! 

He is seen on the beach, playing the guitar.
 
This time, SpongeBob travels from his universe into our own, along with his gang of spirited yet goofy friends for an adventurous ride to defeat the dread Pirate Burger-Beard.  
 

Produced by Paul Tibbitt and Mary Parent the film is based on the series “SpongeBob SquarePants” created by Stephen Hillenburg. 

Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies Presents The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water is directed by Paul Tibbitt. 

The film will be released in India by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in 3D and 2D theatres on May 8.
