Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actress-producer Anushka Sharma has written a thoughtful message on social media for her cricketer husband Virat Kohli who turned 33 on Friday.

In an Instagram post, Sharma praised Kohli for "honesty", "courage" and the power to comeback.

Her post reads, "No filter needed , for this photo and the way you lead your life . Your core is made of honesty and guts of steel . Courage that pales doubt into oblivion . I know no one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you can . You grow better in every way because you hold on to nothing in you as permanent and are fearless .

Oh , and Happy Birthday cuteness !"I know we are not ones to talk to each other through social media like this but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing man you are Fortunate are those who really truly know you . Thank you for making everything brighter and more beautiful ."

Kohli, who is the most successful contemporary Indian batsman, is presently in the UAE leading the national team in the T20 World Cup.

However, the Indian skipper is going through some tough times as India are on the verge of crashing out of the T20 World Cup, losing the first two important matches against Pakistan and New Zealand.

Kohli, who is leading India across all formats for the last several years, has already announced stepping down as captain in the 20 overs cricket.
