Mumbai, Apr 2 (IBNS): The music campaign of Shoojit Sircar's upcoming family comedy drama, Piku, has kick started with a peppy, breezy track called, The Journey Song.

Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Anupam Roy, the number features Amitabh, Deepika and Irrfan as they (Baba, Piku and Rana) set out on a memorable road trip that turns into a rollercoaster ride.

This also marks the Bollywood debut of Anupam Roy as a singer, music composer and lyricist. Roy is one of the most talented musicians in Tollywood.

The makers of the film released a 20 sec teaser of the Journey Song on Tuesday, which became an instant hit on social media with a lot of fans commenting on its freshness, lilting tunes and soothing lyrics.

Incidentally, post the launch of Piku's trailer on Mar 25, a lot of fans and music lovers tweeted to the talent and to the producers, expressing their love for the Journey song, a part of which was used in the 2nd half of the trailer.

The response was so overwhelming that the makers decided to launch the music campaign with this song itself!

Piku’s trailer is already a runaway hit with fans having clocked more than 3.5 million views only on Facebook and Youtube in less than a week.
