Mumbai/IBNS: Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently undergoing COVID-19 treatment at Mumbai's Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, thanked his fans in a new tweet for the overflowing prayers and well wishes extended to his family.

Sharing an image featuring himself, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya, Big B tweeted: "We see your love... we hear your prayers... we fold our hands... in gratitude and thanks!"

The actor had tested positive for the contagion on July 11 after which he was admitted to hospital.

He himself confirmed the news on Twitter after which his son actor Abhishek Bachchan too tweeted that he tested positive for the virus as well.

A day later Aishwarya and her daughter also tested positive for the contagion and were shifted to hospital last Friday.

The senior Bachchan had been quite active on Twitter even during his stay at the hospital.

He had earlier too thanked his fans for the good wishes and love being poured for his family.

The Bollywood legend had also posted a message expressing gratitude for the healthcare workers.

He was last seen sharing screen space opposite actor Ayushmann Khurrana in Shoojit Sircar's 'Gulabo Sitabo' which had a digital release owing to the pandemic.
