'Margarita With A Straw's poster launched

Mumbai, Mar 9 (IBNS): Viacom18 Motion Pictures recently released the new poster for the upcoming film 'Margarita With A Straw'.

It features Kalki Koechlin who portrays the character of a young girl ‘Laila’ with Cerebral Palsy. Slated to release on Apr 17 in India.

The film has won many prestigious awards like Best Film in NETPAC, Sundace, Busan International Film Festivals, Best of the Fest at Palm Strings International Film Festival, Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival for the Best Actress and many more.

Waiting to kick up a storm in India too, the film talks about the idea of living life to its fullest while celebrating the spirit of breaking free from the shackles of the written norms of the ‘abnormal’.

The much-awaited trailer for the film will also be launched by actor Aamir Khan.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Jakhotia Group, Ishan Talkies and ADAPT, and directed by the acclaimed Shonali Bose the film’s stellar cast includes Kalki Koechlin as Laila, veteran star Revathy, Hollywood actor William Moseley (lead of the Narnia Chronicles) and Sayani Gupta in pivotal roles.
