Mumbai, Feb 23 (IBNS): Reacting to the country's strong action against Pakistan over Pulwama terror attack, which left over 40 Indian paramilitary personnel martyred, actress Vidya Balan has recently said some tough calls will have to be taken at some point.

Interacting with media at an event, Balan said: "I myself believe art is the best way to bring people together. But I think we have to take a break this time. Some tough calls will have to be taken at some point. We Indians are large-hearted, accepting, forgiving but there is a limit to it."

She also said: "I think now we have to take a stand. I have always felt that there should be no boundaries in art. But I feel it was enough this time."

The attack was carried out by Pakistan-based militant organisation, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), last week.

In the wake of the attack, All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) on Monday announced a ban on all Pakistani artistes.

Actor Ajay Devgn-starrer Hindi film Total Dhamaal did not release in Pakistan.

In retaliation, India withdrew Most Favoured Nation (MFN) of Pakistan, hiked the export duties on goods coming from the neighbour to 200 per cent and also said it will block the flow of its share of waters from eastern rivers to Pakistan.

In the sports arena, India is thinking not to play Pakistan in the Cricket World Cup 2019.

Also the country has denied visas to two Pakistani players who were qualified in the Olympic.

Slamming India, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has decided to suspend all talks with India regarding the hosting of global sporting events.
