Mumbai, Feb 19 (IBNS):  Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films on Friday announced that their upcoming movies Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala will not release in Pakistan.

The decision was taken amid further straining of relationship between India and Pakistan over the recent terrorist attack in Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir which left 40 Indian CRPF jawans killed.

The attack has been criticised by Indian political leaders and several other nations.

Sharing the decision taken by Vijan, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " Producer Dinesh Vijan [Maddock Films] cancels contract with #Pakistan distributor... Won't release #LukaChuppi and #ArjunPatiala in #Pakistan. #PulwamaAttack #PulwamaTerrorAttacks."

Luka Chuppi will release on Mar 1 in India.

It will feature Krtiti Sanon and Kartik Aryan in the lead roles.
