Mumbai, Oct 13 (IBNS): After director Sajid Khan, who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple actresses, stepped down from his post, Hindi movie Housefull 4 has got a new filmmaker.

Farhad Samji will direct Housefull 4. He had directed the third sequel of the franchise as well.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment official statement: "#Housefull3 director Farhad Samji will now direct #Housefull4."

Actresses Saloni Chopra and Rachel White accused Sajid of sexually harassing them.

Revealing her experience, Saloni tweeted, "I finally decided to share my story with you. Writing this was like re-living all that horrible past I’d chosen to let go of, but I knew if I don’t today, I may never. So here’s #metoo #MetooIndia"

Saloni said Sajid had said she was not "sexy" and also pulled down his pants in front of the actress once.

Stating her nightmarish experience at Sajid's house, Rachel said the filmmaker had asked her to seduce him for five minutes if she wanted to grab a role in her movie.

Following the surfacing of the news, actor Akshay Kumar, who was the lead actor of Housefull 4, cancelled the shooting of the film.
