NAHARIYA, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Israeli medical workers wearing protective gears work in the coronavirus ward in the Galilee Medical Center in northern Israeli city of Nahariya on Sept. 24, 2020. Israels Ministry of Health reported 53 coronavirus death cases on Thursday, bringing the total fatalities to 1,378. It is the highest daily rise of death cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in Israel in late February, as the previous record was 40, registered on Wednesday. The ministry also reported 7,425 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total cases to 212,115.
