Toronto, Apr 16 (IBNS) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora at Ricoh Coliseum here and said that the formation of a new government at the Centre has developed a new atmosphere of trust in India.

"There is a new atmosphere of trust in our nation," Modi said while addressing in Hindi to the Indian diaspora.

"It is not that only the Government has changed. 'Jan Man' has changed," he said.

"Whatever is happening in India is not due to Modi but it is due to the people of India," he said.

The crowd kept cheering 'Modi, Modi' while Modi delivered punchlines during his speech.

Modi said India has strength but needs proper oppurtunity to showcase it.

"We want our youth to be job creators not job seekers. Skill development is very important," he said.

Modi flew to Canada after wrapping up his two-day Germany visit where he attempted to to attract investments for 'Make-in-India' programme.

It is the first standalone bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Canada in 42 years.
