NIA announces Rs 10 lakh reward each on two wanted accused in Bengaluru cafe blast case

New Delhi/IBNS: A day after the key accused was arrested, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs. 10 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of two wanted individuals, Abdul Mateen Ahmed Taahaa and Mussavir Hussain Shazib, in connection with the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case.

The announcement was made on X by India's law enforcement agency.

Taahaa, about 30 years old, has been using Hindu identity documents and forged Aadhaar in the name of Vignesh or similar forged ID documents to conceal his identity.

He is known to prefer wearing jeans, T-shirts, shirts, and cap hoodies, and often wears masks, wigs, and fake beards. Taahaa is also known to stay in men's/boys' hostels, PG/sharing accommodations, low-budget hotels, and lodges.'

Shazib, also about 30 years old, is fair-complexioned with a gym-type body. He is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a black, straight hairstyle.

Shazib has been using forged driving licenses in the name of Mohammed Juned Sayed or similar forged ID documents to hide his identity.

The Rameshwaram blast occurred at the cafe in Bengaluru on March 1 and Muzammil Shareef, identified as a key conspirator in the blast case, was apprehended by the NIA on Wednesday.

Investigations have revealed that Shareef provided logistical support to the two wanted accused in carrying out the explosion at the cafe.

The blast at Rameshwaram Cafe resulted in several injuries, prompting intensive investigations by the NIA to apprehend all those involved in the incident.
