BJP's office-bearers meet to chalk out Lok Sabha poll strategy

New Delhi/UNI: BJP's national office-bearers' meeting commenced on the second day at party headquarters in New Delhi on Saturday.

The two-day meeting, which commenced on Friday, was called to take stock of its preparedness for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 and chalk out strategy for other upcoming programmes of the party.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the meeting in the presence of the party's national president, JP Nadda.

In a social media post, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ''We had a fruitful interaction on ways to deepen our connection with the people and elaborate on our Party’s development agenda''.

The meeting is being chaired by BJP chief JP Nadda and attended by state chiefs, general secretaries, in-charges, and other office-bearers.

The officials said the meeting will also discuss the party's preparations for the upcoming polls, and there will be stocktaking of the results of the Assembly polls last month.

As per sources, the party will discuss strategy for Lok Sabha polls in light of efforts by INDIA bloc parties to contest the polls together.

The meeting is also expected to review the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, they said, adding that there will also be a discussion on the training of elected representatives and mocha activities.
