New Delhi/IBNS: After being questioned for nine hours in relation to a Delhi excise policy case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal left the Central Bureau of Investigation headquarters on Sunday night.

"I gave all the answers to CBI officers, whatever they asked. This alleged excise policy scam is fake," stated Kejriwal on Sunday.

“They asked me nearly 56 questions regarding liquor policy,” stated Delhi CM to the media in a press briefing, upon leaving the CBI office.

“They don’t have any evidence in this case,” claimed Kejriwal.

In connection with the case, Kejriwal arrived at the Central Bureau of Investigation headquarters earlier in the day for questioning.

Summoned by the CBI to appear for questioning in the Delhi excise policy case, Kejriwal, along with his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann and party workers, visited Rajghat before heading to the CBI headquarters.

During a press conference after the questioning, Kejriwal accused the Centre of being too powerful and capable of imprisoning anyone without any basis.

Before heading to the CBI office, Kejriwal informed the media that he would provide truthful answers to all questions.

“I will give all answers with honesty because I did not do anything wrong,” he said. “They threaten everyone to follow their orders otherwise put in jail,” alleged Kejriwal.

“Now do whatever you want. You can’t stop now. Now India will remain the number one country in the world,” said the Delhi CM.
