Mumbai, Feb 27 (IBNS): Queer Ink, since 2010, has been a leader in working sensitizing the mainstream with the queer word. In her 6th edition of Q Fest, Queer Ink celebrates International Women’s Day by queering an entire day of activities on March 8, 2015.

The day starts with a screening of Qissa and a discussion with Rasika Dugal, Tisca Chopra, Tillotama Shome sharing their experiences of acting within a gender-bending context.

Svati Bhatkal (Co-Director & Field Research Head of Satyamev Jayatev), Gazal Dhaliwal and Divya discuss their experiences post the Accepting Alternative Sexualities screening.

Participants will also be able to workshop and perform their own experiences of Breaking Gender Stereotypes.

The ever popular Q Marathi hour will showcase Lavni performances by Nikhil Ghume, Celebrating x Chromosome- either you have single or double.

Queer Ink (QI) is India’s only Publisher of LGBTQIA-specific resource, both online and in print. In response to the Supreme Court of India judgment of December 11, 2013, the QI website (www.Queer-Ink.cm) was updated to visbilise the minuscule minority.
