Double engine of BJP has collided: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav

Jaunpur/UNI: Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the double engine BJP government has completely failed in Uttar Pradesh and now the people want change and that will certainly happen.

Yadav, who is on a two-day visit to Jaunpur on his Samajwadi Vijay Rath Yatra, here on Tuesday said.

"Both the engines of the double government have collided and now the eyes of the public are on the Samajwadi Party", he said.

Claiming that SP alliance is going to capture 400 seats in the state assembly polls, SP president alleged that law and order has completely failed in UP, while daughters too are not safe in the state.

He said that the farmers' movement forced this government to bow down.

"The way the BJP government at the Center withdrew all the three black laws, it has proved that now the days of BJP are about to end," he said.

On the statement given by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the occasion of the grand inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, that the dream of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi has been realized, Mr Yadav said "the party supporting Gandhi's killer is now telling us that they are fulfilling the dreams of the 'Father of the Nation'. They are misleading the people by making such statements, as everyone knows that BJP has nothing to do with Gandhi's ideology," SP president said.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the way small parties have supported the SP by forming alliances, it has been proved that once again in 2022, the SP government is going to be formed.
