Srinagar/UNI: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday claimed that she has been locked in her house to prevent her from visiting Tral in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, where Army allegedly ransacked a house and thrashed inmates on Sept 27 night.

This is the real picture of Kashmir that visiting dignitaries must be shown instead of Government of India (GoI)'s guided picnic tours, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president said.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter Mehbooba said, "Locked up in my house today yet again for attempting to visit the village in Tral allegedly ransacked by the Army. This is the real picture of Kashmir that visiting dignitaries must be shown instead of GOIs sanitised & guided picnic tours."

On Tuesday she alleged that the Army ransacked houses and thrashed members of a family in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Monday night.

She had further alleged a woman received head injuries and was admitted to hospital.
