Tackling natural disaster: MRT train Jammu and Kashmir police personnel

Samba: Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir have trained Jammu and Kashmir police personnel to tackle natural disasters.

The trainees are practicing ascending and descending the Rocky Mountains and carrying victims, searching lost people on avalanches, and other natural disaster training activities, reports ANI.

More than 1500 police personnel have been trained, reports the Indian agency.

The team is planning to train 3000 people this year.
