New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi has congratulated his New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern on her resounding victory in the polls.

Modi said he is looking forward to working together with the New Zealand leader.

Modi said he aims to take India-New Zealand relationship to a higher level.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "My heartiest congratulations to the PM of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern on her resounding victory. Recall our last meet a year ago and look forward to working together for taking India-NZ relationship to a higher level. "
