Anti CAA stir: Candle light march at Shaheen Bagh

New Delhi/UNI Jamia Millia Islamia University students and residents of adjoining areas took out a candle light march against the CAA and NRC and in solidarity with the people protesting against the cause in Shaheen Bagh area of Delhi.

The candle light march began on Sunday evening form outside the Jamia Campus and headed towards the Shaheen Bagh area where many people are protesting against the CAA and NRC.

Hundreds of people joined the march.

Protest was held near the Jamia during the day time also.

Some people during the day also gathered outside the Uttar Pradesh Bhawan in Chanakyapuri area to protest against the CAA and NRC and as well as the alleged atrocities by UP Police against the protestors in the state.

Around 35 people including two women were detained by the police but were subsequently released.
