New Delhi/IBNS: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for not informing the parliament about his foreign trip as the Wayanad MP is presently outside the country for "meditation".

Slamming the former Congress president, BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said, "Every MP has to inform the parliament about his or her foreign visit. But Rahul Gandhi didn't do that. He has done such thing earlier as well. I urge him to inform about his personal visit."

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday said Rahul went abroad for meditation and he will be back in the country soon.

Taunting Rahul, Rao said, "Everyone comes to India for meditation and Rahul Gandhi went abroad. Why has he gone? Has he gone to tarnish India's image outside outside the country?"
