Ranchi, Oct 12 (UNI) The Ranchi Civil Court has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actress Amisha Patel.

Ranchi police will be travelling to Mumbai to arrest the actress.

A complaint against Amisha and her business partner Kunal Gruhmar had been registered by film producer Ajay Kumar Singh on March 29, 2019 accusing the duo of threat and forgery.

Singh has accused that Amisha and Kunal took Rs 2.50 crores from him for making music but did not deliver the promised work.

According to reports, Amisha and Kunal had taken a sum of Rs 2.50 crore from the filmmaker for their film Desi Magic.

The work on the film had commenced in 2013.

Ajay said, Amisha had assured him that the film would be ready by 2018 and she would be returning the entire money with interest after its release.

However, when the film failed to release on time, he asked the actress to pay back his money, after which she gave him a cheque of Rs 3 crore but the cheque bounced, he alleged.

On the other hand, when he tried to raise the issue, Amisha tried to divert his attention while her business partner threatened him, he accused.

Ajay said that he had also sent various legal notices to Amisha but she did not respond.
