PM Modi, Amit Shah wish nation on Navratri

New Delhi, Sept 29 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Navratri.

In his tweet, he shared a video which is a collage of deity Durga's version that is worshipped on the first day of Navratri.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished the citizens on the occasions.

Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans over nine nights and is celebrated every year in the month of autumn.

It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent.
