USAID administrator Shah travels to India for World Economic Forum
"Dr. Shah will also attend WEF sessions related to food security and financial inclusion; moderate a panel entitled 'New Pathways to Sustainability' on food and water security in India; and meet with members of the Indian private sector on a range of development issues," read an official statement issued by the USAID.
Today, the U.S.-India partnership is harnessing the strengths and capabilities of both countries to tackle development challenges not only in India but globally.
"This relationship is leveraging the expertise, innovation and resources of both the United States and India to tackle the most pressing challenges of our day, from food security and infectious disease to illiteracy, depleting energy resources and lack of access to water and sanitation," read the statement.
